My two favorite show day self tanner and why i choose to self tan. First thing first I recommend trying self tanner with less expensive tanner from Walmart or the drug store just to get used to the process. I choose to self tan because now that I'm comfortable with the process it saves me money as well as time and I can do it in the comfort or my own home or hotel room. I can typically get 2 or 3 tans out of my show day tanner kits . I typically spend around 100 on those kits . I'll take 35 dollars a tan ! Lol 

My two favorite tans are Protan kits with ultra dark.  Tend to need an extra base coat with this one bc I am very pale.

My new favorite is Jan Tana kit. 

It has more of an orange tint to the base color but I tend to have to only use one two base coats (Vs protan 3) and one top coat of there ultra dark! Love this color looks gorgeous on stage. Jan tana can turn green when you sweat so recommend getting the green away spray.

I also find Jan Tana to be very easy to fix or make corrections to back stage if you have any accidents.

Ps it always helps to have a friend to get your back!!
